WWDC 2026: everything Apple announced
A new Siri AI with Gemini integration, Apple Intelligence across the system, and Tim Cook's last WWDC as CEO.

The most anticipated reveal was the new Siri AI: more natural conversations, the ability to understand visual information, a dedicated stand-alone app, and integration with Google's Gemini.
Apple Intelligence rolls out horizontally across Safari, Messages, Phone, Photos, Mail, Spotlight and Shortcuts. Dictation becomes system-wide and corrects itself as you speak; the Photos app gains tools to extend images, change perspective and remove unwanted elements.
Apple reiterated that user images are not used to train its models. There are also stricter parental controls, Health app updates and speed improvements. It was also Tim Cook's last WWDC as CEO: from September 1st the role passes to John Ternus.
